Terms of Service Last Updated: May 17, 2026 1. Introduction and Acceptance of Terms Welcome to Introspection, operated by Introspection. These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your access to and use of the website located at https://introspection.life (the "Site") and all related services, features, content, and applications offered by Introspection (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use the Service. This is a legally binding agreement between you and Introspection. We've tried to make it clear, but it's important you understand these rules. 2. Eligibility and Account Registration To use certain features of the Service, like creating content or managing subscriptions, you'll need to register for an account. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and agree to these Terms. If you are under 18 but at least 13 years old, you may only use the Service with the explicit consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to be bound by these Terms. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent. More on that below. When you register, you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account password and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify Introspection immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security. We can't be held liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to comply with these obligations. 3. User-Generated Content The Service allows you to create, post, upload, share, or store content, including comments, reviews, text, images, and other materials ("User Content"). You retain all ownership rights in your User Content. But here's the thing: by making your User Content available on or through the Service, you grant Introspection a worldwide, non-exclusive, transferable, sublicensable, royalty-free license to use, copy, modify, create derivative works based upon, distribute, publicly display, publicly perform, and distribute your User Content in connection with operating and providing the Service. This means we can show your content to other users, back it up, and generally make the Service work as intended. You are solely responsible for your User Content. You represent and warrant that you own all rights in your User Content or have the necessary licenses, rights, consents, and permissions to grant the license to Introspection as described above. You also agree that your User Content will not violate any third-party rights, including copyright, trademark, privacy, or publicity rights, or any applicable law or regulation. We don't monitor all User Content, but we reserve the right to remove or modify any User Content at our sole discretion, without notice, for any reason or no reason, including if we believe it violates these Terms. 4. Subscriptions, Payments, and Billing Introspection offers various subscription plans that provide access to enhanced features of the Service. When you subscribe, you agree to pay the specified fees. All fees are in Canadian Dollars (CAD) unless otherwise stated. Payments are processed through third-party payment processors, currently Stripe and PayPal. By initiating a subscription, you authorize Introspection and its payment processors to charge your chosen payment method on a recurring basis (e.g., monthly or annually) until you cancel your subscription. You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate purchase and account information for all purchases made via the Service. You further agree to promptly update account and payment information, including email address, payment method, and payment card expiration date, so that we can complete your transactions and contact you as needed. We reserve the right to change our prices at any time. If we do, we'll notify you in advance, and the new prices will apply to your next billing cycle. All sales are final, and no refunds will be issued except as required by law or at our sole discretion. You can cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings on the Site. Your cancellation will take effect at the end of your current paid subscription period. 5. Intellectual Property Rights The Service and its entire contents, features, and functionality (including but not limited to all information, software, text, displays, images, video, and audio, and the design, selection, and arrangement thereof), are owned by Introspection, its licensors, or other providers of such material and are protected by Canadian and international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property or proprietary rights laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for your personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms. This means you can use the Site and its features, but you can't copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our Service or its content without our express written permission. The Introspection name, logo, and all related names, logos, product and service names, designs, and slogans are trademarks of Introspection or its affiliates or licensors. You must not use such marks without the prior written permission of Introspection. 6. Third-Party Services and Links The Service may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not owned or controlled by Introspection. For example, we use Stripe and PayPal for payments, and we might use analytics services (like Google Analytics) or advertising partners to understand how our Service is used and to show you relevant ads. When you use these third-party services, your data may be shared with them. Our Privacy Policy explains more about how we handle your data and what we share. Introspection has no control over, and assumes no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites or services. We do not warrant the offerings of any of these entities/individuals or their websites. You acknowledge and agree that Introspection shall not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with the use of or reliance on any such content, goods, or services available on or through any such third-party websites or services. We strongly advise you to read the terms and conditions and privacy policies of any third-party websites or services that you visit. 7. Children's Online Safety and Parental Consent The Service is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent. If you are under 13, please do not use or provide any information on the Service or through any of its features, register on the Service, make any purchases through the Service, use any of the interactive or public comment features of the Service, or provide any information about yourself to us, including your name, address, telephone number, email address, or any screen name or user name you may use. If we learn we have collected or received personal information from a child under 13 without verification of parental consent, we will delete that information. If you believe we might have any information from or about a child under 13, please contact us immediately at hello@introspection.life. For users between 13 and 18, parental or guardian consent is required to use the Service, and the parent or guardian must agree to these Terms on behalf of the minor. 8. Disclaimers THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. THIS MEANS WE DON'T PROMISE IT WILL ALWAYS BE PERFECT OR ERROR-FREE. WITHOUT LIMITING THE FOREGOING, INTROSPECTION HEREBY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, STATUTORY, OR OTHERWISE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ANY WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND FITNESS FOR PARTICULAR PURPOSE. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR FREE OF ERRORS, VIRUSES, OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS. YOU USE THE SERVICE AT YOUR OWN RISK. 9. Limitation of Liability TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL INTROSPECTION, ITS AFFILIATES, OR THEIR LICENSORS, SERVICE PROVIDERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, OFFICERS, OR DIRECTORS BE LIABLE FOR DAMAGES OF ANY KIND, UNDER ANY LEGAL THEORY, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE, OR INABILITY TO USE, THE SERVICE, ANY WEBSITES LINKED TO IT, ANY CONTENT ON THE SERVICE OR SUCH OTHER WEBSITES, INCLUDING ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, PERSONAL INJURY, PAIN AND SUFFERING, EMOTIONAL DISTRESS, LOSS OF REVENUE, LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF BUSINESS OR ANTICIPATED SAVINGS, LOSS OF USE, LOSS OF GOODWILL, LOSS OF DATA, AND WHETHER CAUSED BY TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), BREACH OF CONTRACT, OR OTHERWISE, EVEN IF FORESEEABLE. THIS LIMITATION APPLIES EVEN IF INTROSPECTION HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS ON IMPLIED WARRANTIES OR THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF CERTAIN DAMAGES, SO SOME OR ALL OF THE ABOVE DISCLAIMERS OR LIMITATIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. 10. Indemnification You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Introspection, its affiliates, licensors, and service providers, and its and their respective officers, directors, employees, contractors, agents, licensors, suppliers, successors, and assigns from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to your violation of these Terms or your use of the Service, including, but not limited to, your User Content, any use of the Service's content, services, and products other than as expressly authorized in these Terms, or your use of any information obtained from the Service. This means if your actions cause us a problem, you'll cover the costs. 11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction All matters relating to the Service and these Terms, and any dispute or claim arising therefrom or related thereto (in each case, including non-contractual disputes or claims), shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the internal laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without giving effect to any choice or conflict of law provision or rule. Any legal suit, action, or proceeding arising out of, or related to, these Terms or the Service shall be instituted exclusively in the courts of the Province of Ontario, although we retain the right to bring any suit, action, or proceeding against you for breach of these Terms in your country of residence or any other relevant country. You waive any and all objections to the exercise of jurisdiction over you by such courts and to venue in such courts. 12. Termination We may terminate or suspend your account and bar access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, under our sole discretion, for any reason whatsoever and without limitation, including but not limited to a breach of the Terms. If you wish to terminate your account, you may simply discontinue using the Service or follow the cancellation process in your account settings. All provisions of the Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive termination, including, without limitation, ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability. 13. Changes to These Terms We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion. By continuing to access or use our Service after any revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, you are no longer authorized to use the Service. 14. Miscellaneous 14.1. Entire Agreement These Terms and our Privacy Policy constitute the sole and entire agreement between you and Introspection regarding the Service and supersede all prior and contemporaneous understandings, agreements, representations, and warranties, both written and oral, regarding the Service. 14.2. Waiver and Severability No waiver by Introspection of any term or condition set forth in these Terms shall be deemed a further or continuing waiver of such term or condition or a waiver of any other term or condition, and any failure of Introspection to assert a right or provision under these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision. If any provision of these Terms is held by a court or other tribunal of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable for any reason, such provision shall be eliminated or limited to the minimum extent such that the remaining provisions of the Terms will continue in full force and effect. 14.3. Assignment You may not assign or transfer these Terms, by operation of law or otherwise, without Introspection's prior written consent. Any attempt by you to assign or transfer these Terms, without such consent, will be null and void. Introspection may freely assign or transfer these Terms without restriction. 15.
